Here’s where you’ll find info about living at Monroe Manor plus all the latest Monroe Manor condos for sale and for rent.
Built in two phases between 1999 and 2001, Monroe Manor is a low-rise brick elevator building with 38 residential and 10 retail condo units. It’s located in the east section of Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood.
The building features exceptional outdoor space, a premier location and is pet friendly. Here’s a closer look.

The building is known for its large outdoor spaces. All residential units have spacious balconies and / or terraces. South facing units feature exceptionally large terraces measuring up to 500 square ft.
These terraces are a real rarity in the city and coveted by those who enjoy urban gardening and outdoor space to relax and entertain.
With the 2018 construction of neighboring building Illume to the south, many terraces in the middle of the building are now more shaded. Even so, they are still a very attractive feature of the building.
Perhaps the best thing about Monroe Manor is it’s near-east / Greektown location in the West Loop. It’s perfectly located for anyone working in Downtown Chicago or in need of convenient transportation options. Its steps from the McDonalds World Headquarters, the Downtown financial district or the tech companies like Google in Fulton Market.
And transportation options abound. Union and Metra stations are just a few minutes away as are “L” stations, I-290 or I-90/94.
Plus daily shopping needs are made easy with Walgreens, Mariano’s and Whole Foods just couple of blocks away.
The location is also great for those who like to dine out. Greektown, Randolph Street and Fulton Market bars and restaurants are all super close.
The building is also pet-friendly. Cats and dogs are welcome here! The dog park located within the Mary Bartelme Park is literally next-door, one reason the West Loop is one of the best neighborhoods for dogs in Chicago.
