Crilly Court history

In 1885, Daniel Crilly who is credited with developing much of Old Town bought this city block and built Crilly Court apartments.

Then in 2006, the apartments were converted to Crilly Court condos retaining many original details. For instance, the original yellow brick exterior and classic bay windows.

In addition, the engraved names of Crilly’s four children above each of the four entrances were also retained; Isabelle, Oliver, Edgar and Erminie. This unit is in the Oliver.

Today Crilly Court is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and is one of Chicago’s many architectural gems.

To conclude, this rarely available Crilly Court condo is an outstanding home in a fantastic neighborhood.
