Jeff has lived in every region of the United States as well as in Europe and Asia. Having moved over a dozen times, his experiences with real estate agents over the years have ranged from “just ok” to “downright terrible.”
So in 2005, when seeking a more entrepreneurial career challenge, Jeff combined his passion for excellence in sales & client service with his life-long interest in real estate investments and started on a new path.
With an MBA in international management from Thunderbird School of Global Management and twenty years in Fortune 500 sales & client service leadership behind him, he knew he could create an organization that could deliver a better real estate experience to Chicago’s buyers, sellers, tenants and landlords. He also felt that his international experience would be of benefit to clients relocating to and from other countries.
His promise was simple; to provide all clients with the best integrity, knowledge and service available in the Chicago real estate market. As Jeff delivered on this promise, clients responded by referring plenty of friends and family. As the business grew, so did the team and in 2007, in the midst of a very tough real estate market when other Chicago real estate firms were closing, Best Chicago Properties opened a new office in Chicago’s popular West Loop neighborhood and continued to hire the best Chicago Realtors® in the business. Brokers with integrity, brokers who know and love Chicago and agents who have the client centric viewpoint that is so critical to successful client service.
In 2010, one of those outstanding brokers, Chuck Gullett, was promoted to become Managing Broker and a Principal in the business. Jeff and Chuck both know the secret to success (their client’s, their agent’s and their own) is not to build the biggest or flashiest real estate brokerage, but rather just the best.
