The Magnificent Mile is the name for the famed section of Michigan Avenue that stretches from the Chicago River to Oak Street. Streeterville consists of the part of Michigan Avenue that is the Magnificant Mile and all land east of that, bordered by the Chicago River on the south, Michigan Avenue on the west, and Lake Michigan on the north and east. Along with the Magnificant Mile, Streeterville is home to many attractions including Navy Pier, the John Hancock Center, and the historic Chicago Water Tower.
