Magnificent Mile / Streeterville

The Magnificent Mile is the name for the famed section of Michigan Avenue that stretches from the Chicago River to Oak Street. It is home to historic commercial buildings such as the Wrigley Building and Tribune Tower and the many retail shops along Michigan Avenue attract tourists from all over the world.

Streeterville consists of the part of Michigan Avenue that is the Magnificant Mile and all land east of that, bordered by the Chicago River on the south, Michigan Avenue on the west, and Lake Michigan on the north and east. Along with the Magnificant Mile, Streeterville is home to many attractions including Navy Pier, the John Hancock Center, and the historic Chicago Water Tower.

Streeterville has many professional office buildings, residential high rises, universities, medical facilities, luxurious hotels, and fine dining restaurants. It is an excellent place for entertainment and a convenient living location.
